This is a sweet complex coffee with deep flavor notes. Features gentle acidity, a nice full body, floral/smoky overtones, slightly tart, flavor nuances of honey, milk chocolate, and orange, the finish is bright and aromatic.

Description: Located in Uctubomba, 1 of 7 provinces in the Amazonas region of Peru. This coffee is grown and harvested by a co-op of 109 families. During the last decade, Peru’s smallholder co-ops consolidated their movements providing more organization and rewarding opportunities. These co-ops are linked with FairTrade and Organic networks and quickly became the 2nd largest suppliers of FairTrade coffee after Mexico, and one of the world’s top Organic producers. Peruvian coffees tend to have Central American brightness but a South American flavor package overall.
